How To Import Attachments Using Apex Data Loader?

Import Attachment through data loader:
Step:1
First Login to Apex Data Loader. Shown in below screen.

Step:2

Next click on Insert Button.

Step:3

Check the Show all Salesforce objects checkbox and select the attachment object from the list. Choose the CSV file that contains the following fields,

• ParentId:The Salesforce ID of the parent record
• Name: The name of the attachment file
• IsPrivate: The value in this field is 0 if the attachment is not private and 1 if it is private.
• OwnerId: The Salesforce Id of the record owner
• Body: The Salesforce Id of the attachment

Step:4

Select this file and click on next button.Then choose mapping section,here map the object fields with csv file columns.

Step:5

Select the directory where your success and error fields will be saved and click on Finish.
