Mass Transfer Records:
Some times it's required to transfer the record to one user to another user. We can simply transfer one or two records. But in Org We have to work in huge amount of records. In this time we can't transfer single record each time, it will take long time. Salesforce has a great tool Mass Transfer Records. So we can use this mass transfer records tool to transfer a huge amount of records in min. Using this tool to Transfer multiple account ,service contacts, leads and custom objects.
Now follow the simple step to do it.
Step:1
Select Setup-->Data Management--> Mass Transfer Records.
To transfer any records that you do not own, you must have the required user permissions as well as read sharing access on the records.
Step:2
Then Select the object to transfer records.( here i'm selecting Leas object)
Step:3
Then you will get the below screen.
- Transfer From: Here select the user or Queue having the Records to transfer.
- Transfer To: here select the whom to transfer. you can select user or Queue.
- Filter the Records: here you can filter the record and then transfer the specific records.
- Find: click on Find button to get the records to transfer.
Step:4
after click the find button it will search records and get the records meet the search criteria.you can see below screen.
- Select check box: here we can select specific records or simply click select all to all records.
- Transfer: after selection of records click on transfer button to transfer the records. it will take some time based on the amount of the records.
