How to Install IDE In Eclipse Helios?

           The IDE is a toolkit extension to Eclipse that helps developers and development teams build, deploy, and track versions of components, including custom objects and fields, Apex classes, and Visualforce pages.
       The IDE also features an embedded schema explorer for a live view of your database and metadata components. Using the standard synchronization features of the IDE, you can create a project that enables multiple developers to develop against a shared source code repository. This article provides an overview of the IDE and its features.
The IDE supports the following Salesforce editions:
  • Developer Edition
  • Free Edition
  • Enterprise Edition
  • Unlimited Edition
System Prerequisites:
  • Windows XP and 7,8.
  • Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger), 10.5 (Leopard), and 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
  • Ubuntu 9.01 LTS Desktop Edition 32-bit and 64-bit.

Follow the below steps to download and install IDE

Step: 1
        First we need to download and install the  Java Runtime Environment 5 (v1.5) or later versions.Click here to download JRE.

Step: 2
       Then login to your salesforce account, Select setup-->app setup-->Develop-->Tools-->Click on ide.


Step: 3
           It's Redirect to another page, Then scroll down to found Installation section--> IDE Installation.

Step: 4
      Then It's Redirects to Download page.Select Your operating system to download .exe File. Or Click here to download direct.


Step: 5
     Then Double click on it to  install the ide.exe file. and follow the Next button to Finish.

Step: 6
      Now you can go on desktop and click on ide icon to Run the IDE.

Follow The below Simple Steps To Download And Install.

Step: 1
         First we need to download and install the  Java Runtime Environment 5 (v1.5) or later versions.Click here to download JRE.

Step: 2
        Then download and install Eclipse Version 3.6 Helios or 3.5 Galileo.Click here to download.

Step: 3
        Now Double Click on Eclipse to Launch Eclipse.


Step: 4
First time Select work space ,i.e where the data store in your local system.


Step: 5
Then Go to Menu Section click On Help--> Install New Software.


Step: 6
Then Add the IDE Remote Site: Click "Add Site". The Add Site dialog opens.
Set the Name to " IDE" and the
Location to "", then click "OK."


Step: 7
     After you add the Site, Eclipse will download the list of available plugins and display them in the Available Software dialog. You can See the Below Sreen. Check the box next to the IDE plugin then click "Next".


Step: 8
      In the Install Details dialog, click "Next," then accept the terms and click "Finish." Eclipse will download and install the IDE and any required dependencies. When installation is complete, Eclipse will prompt you to restart. Click "Yes."

Step: 9
       Once Eclipse Restarts, select Window-- > Open Perspective--> Other.. 


Step: 10
         Then it's Pop Ups open perspective window, Select and click on ok.


Step: 11
      You done it. Now You will get below screen.
